9 point buck
Weight : 200 pounds
Score :129 and some change

Tommy Warren took his five year old son on his very first hunt in Allendale County. They were shooting a BB gun when Tommy got a notification from one of his camera’s at 3:30 that afternoon. It was a picture of a 9 point buck that he had on camera the past two years.

This buck had been nocturnal and this was the first day time picture all year. Tommy got his son ready and they headed to the stand. They took their time and snuck back to the back of the property and got settled in about 5:15. It wasn’t ten minutes before a spike popped out.

Shortly after two does came out. They watched those three deer for about ten minutes. At 5:35, the three deer got spooked and ran off. Minutes later a big body deer approached but they couldn’t see the head. At 5:40, the big 9 point came out with his head down at 80 yards to where the does had been standing. Tommy knew it was the buck he had been after and told his son it was a big buck to be really quiet. The buck turned but never stopped so Tommy let it fly before he went back into the woods. Tommy hit him good and the buck mule kicked. Tommy and his son tracked the buck 75 yards with good blood. The 9 point weighed 200 pounds and a friend gross scored him at 129 and some change. Memories were made this day and Tommy and his son will remember this forever. His son is officially hooked!
