My name is Felix Reyes and I just shot with my Mathews Halon, a game land giant. I been pursuing this deer for two seasons never had a chance to see him in person. I had tons of pictures of him from various trail cameras that I strategically place throughout the game land.
On the afternoon of Sept 20 I had the perfect wind for this buck . I climbed a tree near his favorite bedding area at around 7pm I took a 30 yrd shot and got him with a heart shot. He ran about 20 yards and crashed. This put an end to this 2 year pursuit. There is still big deers in NC game lands just put the effort and you will succeed.
