Caselynn has been blessed with a family full of deer hunters. Her entire life she has showed full interested in hunting. From going to see her family’s harvest, down to finally getting one of her own!
She has been hunting numerous times with her daddy and momma and has waited patiently for an opportunity to harvest her own deer, thankfully after much practice she is strong enough to use a high powered rifle safely.
The week leading up to Youth Day 2024, she practiced harder and longer. Her daddy decided they would try an evening hunt due to the deer interaction he had been watching by trail cameras, they got in the stand at 4:00 PM.
With lots of snacks, juice, doe watching, and whispering with her daddy around 6:20 the deer she would shoot walked out. She watched it for a little while, got positioned comfortably and took her shot, something she prayed for, for a long time!
After a long tracking job and finally being rewarded with finding her deer it is safe to say Caselynn is eat up with buck fever and says she’s “never going to stop hunting”.
We are thankful and blessed to experience this with her and look forward to her enjoying many years in the great outdoors.
