Took an afternoon/evening hunt. Had several decent bucks showing up on camera. I let 5 small buck walk and several does. A little basket rack six point came and went probably 6-7 times before he left the area. A small probably 80 pound doe came out and kept looking at me stomping her hoof! I was thinking “ dadgum! You bust me and I ain’t gonna me able to do anything about it cause you weigh dang 80 pounds! Im not shooting that.” 🤣🤣 Well she suddenly darted off and this deer wasn’t far behind! Head down, after her. I picked him out between a gap in some trees and shot him on the run. He went approx 20-30 yard where he piled up. He is my PR buck so far in my hunting career.
