Anthony Smith’s Rockingham County buck

I decided to take off work Nov. 3 to hunt the cold front. I got in the stand around 1 p.m. in Rockingham County. I was watching four does around 4:30 p.m. when i caught a glimpse of horns in the thicket. He was making a scrape, then turned and headed my way. He walked straight in and turned broadside to eat corn, and i shot him at 30 yards with my Thompson/Center Encore muzzleloader. He went about 30 yards and piled up.
