The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the S.C. The Sept. 3 drawing is an effort to improve the quality of the hunt and enhance the satisfaction of the participants. A legible application is required to be submitted by 5 p.m. Aug. 12.

There is a $15 application fee for the hunt. Those not drawn will be refunded the application fee.

Up to four people can apply together for this hunt. A random computer drawing will choose 120 hunters to hunt at the Pee Dee Station public dove field on opening day.

The hunt will begin at noon.

All applicants will be notified of selection status and mailed a notice by Aug. 23.

If selected for the hunt, each participant must keep the notice in their possession at all times while on the field during opening day of dove season. Hunt permits are not transferable.
