CVA muzzleloader given away during Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic

Stop by the South Carolina Sportsman booth to sign up for a free drawing for a CVA Electra muzzleloader.

The 26th Annual Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic begins tomorrow (March 26) at noon, and SouthCarolinaSportsman.com will be there to cover all the activities, especially the scoring session.

SouthCarolinaSportsman.com also will be giving away a FREE muzzleloader in a random drawing from newly registered users signing up at the show. Registration is FREE, and provides full access to the wealth of information found on the Web site. So be sure and stop by the South Carolina Sportsman booth to sign up.

The drawing for the CVA Electra muzzleloader will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday (March 28), and the rifle will be presented at that time if the winner is present.

The show, sponsored by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund, is held at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds in Columbia.

Throughout the show, photographs of many of the big bucks killed this past season will be uploaded to the SouthCarolinaSportsman.com dedicated Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic page. Just look for the Classic’s banner link on our front page, and keep up with the ongoing uploads.

Daily voting sessions will be held to allow you to help choose the site’s Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic Users Choice Award, so be sure and check back each day to vote for your favorite deer. The winner of that award, chosen at the end of the four voting sessions, will receive an Official Sportsman gear prize pack.

Some hunters will also be videoed, allowing them to tell their stories of the hunt. These videos will be uploaded during the show and accessed through the Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic page.

Show times are noon-8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-7p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for seniors, with children 10 and younger admitted free.
