Bobby Tinsley wins first Trail Cam Contest

South Carolina Sportsman’s 2010 Trail Cam Contest is off to a great start thanks to lots of support from sportsman who are glad to share their trail cam photos. Bobby Tinsley of Anderson is the first-ever trail cam contest winner for his entry titled “12-pointer with friends” which shows a trophy buck in the foreground.

Tinsley also shared that his son was able to harvest this buck using his bow on the opening day of deer season in Allendale County, where the buck was captured on trail cam on Aug. 6.

Tinsley will receive an Official Sportsman Gear prize pack, with a sportsman logo t-shirt and truck decals, plus a one-year subscription to South Carolina Sportsman magazine.

The next trail cam contest period runs from Sept. 16 to Oct. 15, and anyone can enter by visiting the Web site, clicking on the contest banner and uploading your photo.

However, ONLY registered users are eligible to win one of the four trail cam contests in 2010, so remember to register today!

The final two contest dates will run from Oct. 16 through Nove. 15, and from Nov. 16 through January 1, 2011.

Following the final preliminary qualifiers, SouthCarolinaSportsman.com users will choose the overall winner from among the monthly winners in a one-week voting session.

The overall winner will recieve a grand prize package to be annnounced.

The contest is a great way to share photos of deer that might never actually get harvested, but the mere image of them makes an impression on hopeful hunters everywhere.
