NC hunter kills 24-point buck in Orange County

24-point buck green-scored 191 5/8 inches

Graham Smith killed 24-point buck in Orange County, NC on opening weekend of the 2026 archery season. The buck was green gross scored at 191 5/8 inches by David Larry King of Buckhorn Taxidermy and Deer Processing in Efland, NC. It’s a buck he had a 5-year history with. 

Smith shot the whopper buck with a Hoyt Alpha AX-3 America 250 bow.
