Evan Browning killed an 8-point buck in Vance County, NC on Sept. 13, 2026.
He shot the buck with a Ravin crossbow during an evening hunt while sitting in an elevated stand from 50 yards away.
Browning’s hunting partner summed up the hunt with these words:
“What started out as a doe hunt quickly turned into a chase for one of our target bucks as “Twin Towers” walked into the field edge. He stood facing directly away from us for what seemed like 15 minutes (probably on 3 minutes). Finally after a few minutes Twin Towers gave Evan a broadside shot at around 50 yards. He put a great shot on the buck and it ran less than 100 yards. Evan’s biggest buck ever!”
