Fisher Nielsen, 5-years-old of Haw River, NC killed an 18.8-pound gobbler on opening day of youth season in Halifax, Va. The bird had a 10 1/8-inch beard, and sported spurs of 3/4-inch and 7/8-inch. His dad Jacob Nielsen took care of the calling while the young hunter focused and making the shot.
