The Yadkin Valley Chapter of the Quail & Upland Wildlife Federation will hold its annual fund-raising banquet on Sept. 19 at Richard Childress Racing in Welcome, N.C.

Chapter banquets held across the country serve as the top fund-raising activities for the QUWF, a national non-profit wildlife conservation organization that aims to provide a focus on habitat for quail and upland wildlife. The banquets fund a seed-distribution program, scholarship awards, the management of a dove field, habitat conservation projects and youth outdoor and hunter education programs.

Tickets are $75 for individuals and $100 for couples. They include a steak dinner, annual membership in QUWF, access to a dove field for the 2019-20 season, a QUWF hat and chapter decal, a newsletter and opportunities for silent auctions, bucket and gun raffles.

For information, call Richard Harrington at 336-345-4753 or Don Stroud at 336-682-3256.
