Class 1 e-bikes are now legal on SC WMAs

On South Carolina’s WMAs, Class 1 electric bicycles are no longer considered motorized vehicles, and may be used on open roads and established roadways where traditional bicycles are allowed. This law is new for 2023, and does not apply to lands of the Fancis Marion or Sumter National Forests in the WMA program.
