Voting began this morning in the September edition of the Trail Cam Contest, with user determining who walks away with the monthly Sportsman Gear prize package.
“We had some great trail-cam photos submitted in September, and the decision of which four to place in the monthly voting session was difficult,” the site’s Andy Crawford said. “But there are some really neat shots for our users to choose from in deciding the winner.”
The Trail Cam Contest, which continues through Nov. 15, allows registered users of NorthCarolinaSportsman.com to show deer on their property while competing for monthly prizes.
Monthly winners receive a free one-year subscription to North Carolina Sportsman magazine and a $25 gift coupon to the online Sportsman Store.

This month’s finalists include four images of beautiful bucks.
User “shane phillips” posted an image he dubbed “Wide 10 posse” that shows five bucks, including a massive 10-pointer that is looking directly into the camera.
User “farmlife” also posted a photo of photo of five great velvet bucks standing in a bachelor group.
“These are (five) bucks in a group of in August,” farmlife wrote.
Another photo is an infrared image by user “OCbowhunter” showing two beautiful bucks standing on the edge of a cornfield in Central North Carolina.
Rounding out the choices is an image by “smithfieldhunter.” The photo in the thread titled “starting to shed velvet” gives a view of two really big velvet bucks that standing over a corn pile.
