Making a living in the woods: Mac’s Outdoors LLC

Mac's Outdoors

I’m sure most of us would love to have someone send us a check for doing nothing more than sitting in a deer stand as often as we want, but for most of us, that’s not going to happen. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make a little money, or even a full-time living by doing something that’s a part of our outdoor passion.

In this episode of the Carolina Sportsman Podcast, Ray McElveen talks about going into business with his son, building, delivering and setting up deer stands for clients. He talks about how fulfilling it’s been to get outside and spend time with his son, meeting new people and seeing lots of interesting hunting locations, and what it’s meant to him personally to be involved in a business that caters to other hunters.
