Print temporary deer tags yourself

South Carolina deer hunters that haven’t received their tags by the time they want to go hunting can print temporary tags themselves. These self-printed tags are only valid until you have received your permanent tags in the mail.

If you use a temporary tag on a harvested deer, you need to report it to SCDNR’s Customer Privileges Portal at https://www2.dnr.gov/customerprivilegesportal by midnight of the day of harvest. You will need the tag identification number nad county of kill as part of the reporting process.

Download and print your temporary tags at https://www2.dnr.sc.gov/customerprivilegesportal.
