South Carolina currently has 8633 sets of whitetail deer antlers on the state records list, including 8294 typical racks and 339 nontypical racks.
Minimum scores to make the South Carolina state records list are 125 points for typical, and 145 points for nontypical antlers. Hunters having deer scored need to provide date and county of the kill. They must also sign a “fair chase” statement.
During 2025, 220 new records were added to South Carolina’s records list.
