It’s never too early to prepare for deer season and for John MacPherson of 704 Outdoors, summertime is a great time to make some mock scrapes on his deer lease. He shows some of the products he uses and explains what he looks for when determining where to place a mock scrape.

Deer season is getting closer and closer every day. South Carolina’s Game Zone 3 opens for archery and gun, and Game Zone 4 opens for archery on Aug. 15, and archery seasons for several other regions in both Carolinas aren’t too far past that.
