Big ray was 6 feet wideJacob Holloway caught a 6-foot wide ray while fishing in front of the Dolphin Lane Motel at Carolina Beach on Nov. 8.
“It took almost an hour to reel it in using a Penn Spinfisher VI 6500 on a 10-foot Penn Battalion rod with 80-pount braided line,” said Holloway. “It was one heck of a fight.”
