Outer Banks surf fishing for bull redfish and sharks

Surf fishing at OBX is good as gold right now

Some of the best surf fishing days at the Outer Banks happen on the worst days for fishing from a boat. Josh Jorgenson and the rest of the crew of BlacktipH Fishing know this first hand. They headed to the OBX to fish offshore, but the wind made the trip unfeasible. So instead of sleeping the day away, they decided to fish from the beach.

And what a day it was! They caught some 40+ pound redfish, and some huge sharks. With a storm on the horizon, the surf gets pretty gnarly, but that doesn’t slow the bite down. Click here to see more of BlacktipH Fishing.
