Thanks to Oceans East Nags Head for their weekly fishing report!

For the last two weeks dolphin fishing has been really good out of Oregon Inlet. Everyday most boats have been catching limits of dolphin. Even some of the inshore boats have found dolphin inside 10 miles of the beach. Tuna fishing has slowed down some with scattered yellowfin and blackfins being caught. Marlin fishing remains slow with not many white and only scattered blue marlin and sailfish.

The dolphin bite is still hot along the Outer Banks.

Early this week beach fishing was pretty good with warm ocean temperatures. But the last few days with the southwest wind, it has cooled off and slowed down the fishing. Nags Head Pier caught a 36-pound king and a couple of nice cobias this week. Spanish and blues were biting pretty good in the morning and evenings on the local piers.

Madison Slaybaugh and several other anglers caught nice king mackerel off local OBX piers in the past week.

We weighed in several nice pompano caught by a couple fishing a little south of Oregon Inlet. Also this week several nice puppy drum were caught on the beach north of Oregon inlet.
