Catching shallow reds can warm your heart

Cabin fever, the shack nasties — whatever term used to describe the affliction that comes from hiding inside from the weather, usually reaches its peak in the cold of January.

Deer season is over, and the cold weather causes too many boats to be left in winter storage, along with their owners. There are those, however, who find the cold weather of January to be a very welcome event.
