RALEIGH — Anglers interested in learning more about freshwater fisheries management and research being conducted on rivers in eastern North Carolina are invited to attend a public meeting at River Park North in Greenville on March 3.
The meeting, which begins at 7 p.m., will be held in the auditorium of the Walter L. Stasavich Science and Nature Center.
Biologists with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission biologists will discuss management of largemouth bass, striped bass and catfish populations in the coastal region, with special emphasis on the Tar and Neuse rivers. A question-and-answer session will follow each topic of discussion.
