The Jocassee Outdoor Center holds an annual trout tournament series; four more events will be held this winter and spring: Jan. 14, Feb. 18, March 17 and April 21.
Entry fees are $35 per person, plus a $10 optional big-fish pot.
All tournaments start at 8 a.m., with weigh-ins at 4 p.m. All contestants must be registered and on the water by noon. Jocassee Outdoor Center (864-944-9016) will be open at 6 a.m. on tournament days.
