Win $10,000 for catching catfish, this weekend

What’s a better way to spend a couple of days on the water catching catfish with your friends? Having a shot at winning $10,000 while doing it!

And anglers will have that shot this weekend. This coming Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15 and 16, 2021 the Southeast Big Money Showdown presented by Catch the Fever takes place at Lake Wateree. With a four-fish weigh-in each day, one team will earn the title. And with the title comes a top prize of up to $10,000.

Anglers can launch from any ramp on Lake Wateree. Weigh in will be begin at Lake Wateree State Park at 3 p.m. Anglers can either trailer to the weigh in or arrive by boat.

Numerous sponsors are on board with the tournament, offering bonus money to teams using their products.
