A new personal bests for Flathead Luke

Flathead Luke Langley of Lancaster, SC caught his new personal best blue cat, which weighed 74.08 pounds from the James River in Virginia. He caught on the big blue on Nov. 25, 2022 while using cut gizzard shad for bait.

Fishing with his dad, the two anglers caught and released numerous big catfish during their trip.

“We got several in the 20s, 30s, 40s, one in the 50s, and Flathead Luke got the biggest at 74.08 pounds. This year was definitely one we will talk about for years to come,” said Timothy Langley, Luke’s dad.
