A North Carolina boat won last weekend's Jolly Mon King Classic with this 41.65-pound king.

Five-pound flounder tops field of 84 fishermen

Tommy Padgett topped a field of 84 fishermen to win the June 14-15 King of Murrells Inlet Fishing Challenge with a 5.01-pound flounder that was worth $1,000.

Bill Blakely took second with the day’s largest aggregate, three flounder weighing 10.83 pounds. Shawn Campbell was third with 3.36, followed by Ed Lawson at 3.3 and Doug Arseneau fifth with 3.2.

Amanda Blair won Top Lady Angler honors with a 2.43-pound flounder, and Ethan Hansford was the Top Youth Angler with a 2.66-pound fish.
