Use electronics to find fish-holding structure

Learn everything you can about using your electronics, and your prespawn bass fishing will improve.

Steve Pietrykowski of Fishski Business Guided Fishing said one thing that Lake Hartwell bass fishermen can do to improve their catches is to learn to use their electronics.

“It amazes me how many anglers don’t read the owner’s manual and just try and figure it out.” he said.

Knowing how and what your equipment can do makes catching fish a lot easier. From water depth to temperature and reading the contours of the bottom — not to mention the GPS benefits of marking structure and areas where you have been successful.
