Bass anglers who don’t mind braving the cold can catch plenty of bass in the winter. Wintertime fishing does require some different techniques than those that work during other times of the year.

Many anglers swear by square-billed crankbaits in winter. Some opt for lipless “trap style” lures. Others like trying multiple types, depending on different situations.
