Sam Seamster (Wild Life Adventures) I took this turkey on opening morning of Turkey season with a crossbow.
A cold front had the turkeys very quiet this morning and I heard no birds gobble on the roost. Around 8 a.m., a gobbler stepped out into the field and eyed my decoys. I called softy when the bird had his head down or looking in the other direction. It took this bird 45 minutes to make his way to my location.
