Rollin Bourgoin, 9-years-old, killed her first gobbler on March 29, 2023. It was not only her first turkey, but also the first animal she has ever killed, and the first time she has ever shot at any animal. That’s a great way to start a hunting career!
The young hunter was holding the gun all on her own when she pulled the trigger at 30 yards. The gobbler had a 9-inch beard and 1-inch spurs. She’s thankful for the hep of her Uncle Tory McCallum, who called the bird in.
