Prosperity hunter downs 12-point public land buck

Challenging hunt leads to 12-point buck

Kenny Nicholson of Prosperity, S.C. killed a public land brute during late September on public land. Just getting to the hunting site was no easy task. Nicholson missed this same buck, which he nicknamed Mr. Crabs, last season. But this time, things worked out in the hunter’s favor.

It was an all-day hunt which involved moving to a different location due to lots of river traffic. But it was all worth it. It’s Nicholson’s biggest archery buck, and he said he’s blessed to have gotten a second chance at it. Luckily for all of us, his friend captured the whole thing on video.
