How to save an unsuccessful night hunt

Making one more stop can save your night hunt

A night hunt can be a great way to add hog and coyote harvests to your hunting experiences. But they are time-consuming and take dedication. Just like daytime hunts, they can lead to long waits with nothing to show for them. That’s why Gene “The Mailman” Wisnewski likes to have at least one hunting spot between his main hunt and his house. This allows him to stop at that spot on the way home.

If his main night hunt pays off, he heads home with a smile on his face and his quarry in the back of his truck. But if things didn’t work out, he hits that secondary spot. This trick has paid off for him multiple times.

Check out his video to hear him break it down, and see what his latest prize was for making that extra stop.
