Wells heavily scouted the buck

Wesley Wells of Orangeburg, SC killed a Berkeley County 8-point buck on Sept. 23, 2024 Wells was hunting with his bow from a stand, and shot the buck in the evening.

It’s a deer that Wells was familiar with through trail cameras and lots of scouting.

“It’s my first private land deer,” said Wells. “I put a lot of scouting into this deer, and it came in to work scrapes. I made a perfect shot. It’s not my biggest buck, but it’s one of the most memorable.”
