Wendy Mayo’s first deer is a 10-point buck

Patience paid off with a 10-point buck

Wendy Mayo of Oriental, N.C. killed her first deer — a 10-point buck — during the first week of December, 2020. This is also her first season as a hunter. She learned a lot along the way and captured her saga in this video.

“It was my first season ever hunting whitetail deer! I’ve learned a lot about myself, about my land, and about this thing called hunting,” she said.
