Unforgettable Memories Made

Brothers, Cooper Franklin (12) & Hunter (18) of Johnston, SC, were hunting on private land in Edgefield County, at separate stands on October 13, 2023. Just at daybreak, while sitting at a buddy stand with dad, Gaston Franklin, Cooper took a 40 yard shot on a logging road; his 10 point, 186 pound personal best deer dropped in his tracks. Cooper was using a CVA 243; this beast of a buck had a green score of 135 1/2”.
Seven minutes after Cooper shot, big brother Hunter took a 75 yard shot at a 12 point buck that was walking in some small pines. Hunter’s buck ran almost 100 yards before it dropped; this deer was Hunter’s personal best to date. Hunter was using a Savage 6.5 Creedmore and sitting in a Muddy ladder stand.
Both deer were taken to Jackson’s Deer Processing In Johnston, SC and are both being mounted by Danny Miller in Monetta.
This awesome day will never be forgotten by these 3 proud fellas!
