My dad and I were hunting over a soy bean field in Ehrhardt, SC. We had seen a few smaller bucks come out and a lot does. We seen 30 deer total that evening. Right before dark the 10 point came out and I whispered to my daddy “ I’m going to shoot that one”. I put the cross arrow of 6.5 Creedmoor on the bucks shoulder and squeezed the trigger. He jumped up and kicked and ran towards the wood line. Daddy and i was sure it was a good shot and he hugged and high fived me. After dark me and daddy got down to track the buck and found him on the edge of the field under a huge oak tree. Daddy said he was bigger than he had thought he was. I knew he was big one when I shot him.
