This was my first hunt sitting by myself. We had this deer on camera for a couple months but he never came out during daylight. I was in the stand about 5 minutes when he came out. This huge 9 point buck, the biggest buck I have ever seen. I got my 6.5 creedmoor up and was shaking really bad. Finally got settled and lined it up and took the shot that was about 100 yards away. He ran about 40 yards and crashed. I called my husband who was in a stand close by to tell him I had shot and he was so excited that he got straight down to come help me trail! Such a great experience and wonderful memories made with my husband!
