8-year-old kills 8-point buck
Sawyer Hayes has turned 8-years-old and scored himself his first deer, an 8-point buck in Latta, SC (Dillon County) on the morning of Nov. 26, 2023.
Sawyer was hunting with his daddy and has been hunting for 3 years. The neighbor had seen this deer on their camera before.
Sawyer shot this buck with a .243 Winchester at approximately 120 yards in a bean field at 7:38 a.m. The buck came across the dirt road and into the field after several grunt calls with the hair on his neck standing up.
