Hunt for Big 6 lasted several years
A 3-year hunt came to end this year when my brother, Samuel John Goins of McColl, SC killed this massive 6-point buck on Nov. 14, 2023 at about 5:30 pm in Marlboro County. Samual shot him with a AR-10, 6.5 Grendel. The buck weighed 181.5 pounds and he had a 20-inch spread on the inside of his antlers. The only thing that changed about him in his previous years is that his antlers grew and have gotten significantly wider.
