Hello, I’m Gerald Murray from Columbia SC. While hunting in Richland County on Sept. 5, 2020, the Lord Jesus blessed me with this beautiful 12-point buck. While hunting out of my climber at 6:30pm a couple of does came wandering through and one of them busted me, blew, and all of them took off. Well all I could say was Praise the Lord anyway. At 7:15 p.m. I caught movement in the woods and all I could see was seems like a lot of white sticks on top of this big bodied deer’s head. Of course buck fever hit me hard. In between praying and hyper ventilating, I was able to bring my .300 Weatherby Mag to a steady position and squeeze the trigger. The buck jumped with all four feet off the ground and ran into the underbrush. I saw the saplings shaking and heard him crash. I climbed down, followed the blood trail, and thanked the Lord for his bountiful blessings.
