Been after this ol’ boy we called Grandpa for two years, and on 10/18/25 I finally put the hammer down!
He’s an 11-point with a double brow tine — a true once-in-a-lifetime deer and a hunt I’ll never forget.
Started the hunt with perfect winds, and a freshly cut soy-bean field. Had 4 does and a 6 point come out to feed which drew the attention of Grandpa. He stoically came out to feed, chasing away the 6 point buck, giving the perfect distraction for the “drop zone”. At 75 yards, a Browning 300 short mag and a broadside shot, he went down.
Couldn’t ask for a better Hunting partner than my Dad, the best guide and “good luck charm” a girl could ever have.
Hard work and God’s blessings made it all come together.🦌
