Saw this nice 10pt in the deer camera 6 days earlier and said “man I’d love to get a buck like that one day.” He walked out in the field on the 17th and I shot him with my 270 I got for Christmas last year. I watched him for about 15 minutes before I shot. I didn’t realize he was the same buck from the camera until we followed the nice blood trail he left. He was about 40 yards from where I shot him. Was a great night.
