Watching the weather and barometer, I knew after Thanksgiving meal I was headed to my hunting land in Moore County. Thursday evening does and small bucks were everywhere. Slipped out after dark and didn’t spook anything. 530am Friday morning I was back in the stand. Wanted to slip in and let every thing settle down before shooting light. About 645 deer started running from all directions.I heard a grunt and roar about 1050 so I used my little bleat can and extinguisher grunt call and he came in looking for a fight. The rest is history making 80 yard shot with 6.5 creedmoor using Hornady ELD X. He made 40 yard death run.
