The stand I was in always has the sun beaming in so I just lean down below the drape to keep the sun out of my face and look up every now and then. I was on my phone scrolling through Facebook when I heard a deer walking up to the stand. I got off of my phone to pay attention. The deer came to the edge of the woods right by my stand, still couldn’t see it. It ended up running off a little ways but when it ran off, a deer ripped up in the cotton field and ran off but stopped. The other deer by me ended up coming out in the field about 20 feet from the stand, went to the cotton field and went up the forth/fifth row. Once it got out of my hearing I peaked over the side to see what it was. It happened to be a cowhorn but out the corner of my eye I seen a big bodied deer standing out in the field. Due to the glare I thought it was a big doe but put my gun up to see for sure. Turned out to be one of the bucks we were hunting so I took my time and let him get to a good shooting position.
