10-point buck showed up Opening Day
Lawrence Cox of Blythewood, SC killed a 10-point buck in Richland County on Aug. 15 while saddle hunting with his bow.
He shot the buck from 20 yards away, and estimates the deer’s rack at about 140 inches.
“I kept hearing rumors of a big buck in a certain location and set out to acquire property within this vicinity of the rumor,” said Cox. I located this buck in early summer, and studied him for 2 months. Then I went in opening day and took him.”
