Evening
After not being able to hunt for 9 months, I sat in the stand for the first time this season after seeing this deer daylight for two days prior. I was 5 days postpartum, haven’t shot a gun in 9 months and unsure if I was ready. My boyfriend begged me to go and watched the baby while I sat. Didn’t see anything all night and about 10 minutes before getting down he walked out and I dropped him on the corn pile. The good lord blessed me with a healthy baby girl and my biggest kill to date 5 days Later!
