We were running late getting to the stand wondering if we should go or not with the uncertainty of the weather but I’m sure glad we did! Halfway into the hunt a rain storm came through and I got soaked then it stopped as I was getting close to calling it quits because of the setting sun but then I see a doe in the distant that made me look in the beanfield behind me and that’s when I saw this giant easing his way from the tree line to the bean field, I started shaking instantly because I knew he was a good buck! I slowly turn to take aim and took him down with a high shoulder shot that dropped him in his tracks! 11pt 190lbs! My husband is a wonderful taxidermist so this stud will definitely be as beautiful on the wall as the day I took him. I thank the Lord every day to be able to enjoy His wonderful creation.
