Calhoun County buck weighed 180 pounds

Hunter Crim of Saint Mathews, SC killed a Calhoun County 9-point buck on the evening of Aug. 21, 2024. The 17-year-old hunter was familiar with the buck, which had appeared on his trail cameras in the past.

Crim shot the deer with a .270 while sitting in a box blind from 100 yards away. The deer ran 10 yards before it dropped.
