This was my first deer ever and I was so nervous as I had missed a doe day earlier. I shot him with my 50 cal muzzleloader at 85 yards but after shot he disappeared. I was so scared I’d missed until my fiancé said no he dropped in his tracks behind the fallen log he was standing beside. I was so excited that I did a little dance as I ran up to see how big he was.
